whatever you want! use a converter online and see. height is better than length and vivs come in all shapes and sizes so theres not really one answer to that! for a permenant tank i wouldny get anything with a height less than 18", mine are in a 24"tall and use it all

gotta recommend the 18X18X24 tall exo terra.... i'd not have anything else given the choice! Most shops will do them for about 60quid now too which a bargain for all the hassel making proper ventilation in a cheapo one!
