lol they are not ALL in good health though because you have just openly admitted that the house gecko is skinny and underweight.

Are they hemidactylus frenatus??

i believe the housies are 2 differnt species - one is the parthogenic indo-pacific gecko and the other i think is the house gecko you get in florida i cant remember its name and ok yes one is in bad health so he is kinda a freebe as i dont know how long he will last - he eat but he doesnt put weight on so i dont know if he only eats a couple every now and again

looking at hemidactylus frenatus i believe the underweight one could easily be this species yes

Probably a WC with internal parasites very easy to cure.

so you're quite happy to let it continue to live with other reptiles even though it COULD possibly be wild caught and have parasites? IMO it doesnt matter if it cost £6 or £60 if its ill then you have any reason to suspect it isnt in good health you should take it to the vet. If you werent prepared to look after it properly or pay the vets bills should it need the vet then why did you buy it?

so you just gunna let it continue to get skinny and most probably die, all because it only cost £6? thats horrendous and i am now suspicious of the condition of your other animals and i cetainly know myself i wouldnt buy anything you bred based on your previous statement, im stunned, i dunno what stuns me more, your statement or the fact i actually agree with marina for once.

i really cant see you selling it now after that statement purely due to the risk it poses to the potential buyers other animals, it should be treated anyway regardless of the sale but especially if you are planning to pass it onto another reptile owner, the poor little thing. <<shakes head>>

i know all my animals are captive bred other than the 2 house geckos and tree frog i m 99% sure they are wild caught.
all others are in good health can privide pics for proof if required. I do not like critisism especially about my animals as I know they are in good health other than this gecko I have tried everything. Also so nearest vet is so far away and he is so quick it would take up a lot of time, time i dont have for catching loose animals.
as I said apart from the house geckos all are fantastic feeders - particularly toads. tree frog and other house gecko(the indo pacific) are in fine health, are of good looking weight and eat a lot.

I'll knock £5 off the exo-terra+ 2 house geckos becuase of all critisism and i dont knwo how long lil gecko will last, dont even have to take him.

Open to very nearest offers

Once again I state strongly TOADS, TREE FROG and INDO PACIFIC HOUSE GECKO in very good health!

the critism is mainly with regards to the statement that you made, you said youve tried everything but you havent, you havent taken it to the vets to be treated for parasites. and if my assumption is wrong i will hold my hands up but im assuming this gecko has been housed with the other one which means there is a good chance it could have passed something onto that one who just isnt showing ill health YET. it could have also passed it onto the frog if it is housed with them also

the cost of an animal should have no baring on what we pay for it to ensure its quality of life so the statement about the vet being more than the price of the gecko says to me that cos it only cost £6 its life isnt worth much and if it dies it dies! who cares, it was only £6 after all!

and a meesly fiver off the price doesnt change the fact that this is an appaulling situation and that by giving a fiver discount makes up for the fact that this gecko could be ill and isnt being treated cos the treatment costs more than the gecko! if you are too far away from a vet and are not willing to travel to it then i really dont think you should have any animals in the first place. if it was a £1500+ royal would you be more willing to make the journey to the vets? as for catching the gecko a little time and patience is all it needs, you got it in the viv im sure you can get it out. cricket tubs are usually good for catching fast geckos

im sorry for gettin on my high horse but i havent seen a post thats got my blood boiling like this for ages, and it makes me angry at the ignorance and stupidity of it all
