i say toad too. I had to research this before for my course and theres only 2 differences... toads have lumpy skin and frogs have smooth skin and frogs jump and toads hop

You can't really get them mixed up.A toad has a large lumpy gland(the parotid) behind the eye whereas the frog will have a flat round dark spot about 4-5mm dia.(the tymphanum)or eardrum to us regular guys.Also if you look at a toad it's not really built for hopping although it can.It usually likes to walk.The frog on the other hand always looks ready to leap from a sort of sitting position. Frogs are beautiful and toads are ugly at least thats what I think.
