It's probably best to get it to a vet. The upside down swimming would've been enough for me! That's a pretty obvious sign that something's wrong.

It could be something fairly easily treatable such as internal parasite's causing the bloating.

Possibly ingestion of some of the substrate. Get the little guy to a decent vet. Has it fed since the bloating happened?

the swimming upside down was a birth defect the toad itself dosnt look like your avarage fbt its flat its legs are too long he feeds well and has survived he seems quite happy getting along with the others.
my concern is the bloating hes gone from flat to looking 'like a balloon as you begin to blow'
i dont think its due to eaten somthing it looks like its got a lot of air.

Could be a female, getting ready to pop some eggs???

But if you're concerned, you should just take it to a vet.

do you mist there viv if you do have you sprayed directley at him because it is unwanted water and they drink through there skin so he might be bloated of water?
dont know but i read it in a book
