Default A little Froggy?

Oooh look at me in the amphib section

Anyway..

Once one of my Cresties is bigger, she'll move out of her tiny 30x30x30 exo terra.. I'd like to maybe get a little frog or two.
I know it's a tiny space, but wondering if there are any that could live happily and healthily in there for it's life?

I could easily make a little section of the viv a pool, as exo's are water tight and have some land area too.

Just not sure if it's possible to keep any in for life?

Wont be happening for a few months yet, so plenty of time to read up about potential croakies

Any Froggy people wanna help me out?

There are plenty that wouldn't get to big and would be ok. Possibly an american green tree frog, easy to keep for a beginner, quite robust and stay small. They are nocturnal so tend to stay hidden a lot.

american green tree frogs need much more height than that, as they reach around 2.5 inches and are very active when awake, which is not strictly at night either, these frogs will move around in the day too......

www.pollywog.co.uk: American Green Tree Frog (Hyla cinerea) Care Sheet

all tree frogs are off im affraid, as they need height, some wil be ok in there as babbies but not for life...

fire belly toads woud be ok IMO and perhaps reed frogs, however have never kept reed frogs so not 100% on husbandary, just know they stay small....

try looking into tarestrial frogs, or toads as i think these will be your only hope, 30x30x30 is quiet small being only about 8 gallons when empty.....

can't think of any tree frogs that it would be big enough for. you could get away with it for some of the smallest darts.

Id say a single or possibly two golden flying tree frogs would be fine in it.

I have kept a breeding trio of Dendrobates reticulatus in an ET of this size, but they are a difficult species and not really ideal if you haven't kept the smaller dart species before.

Maybe a couple of the smaller reed frog species would be OK but other than that I think you will be struggling to find anything small enough for a 30 cube to be sufficient space.
