Default Newt doesn't grow!!!!!!

hi all, my brother has had a fire bellied newt for around 4 years now and it hasn't grown at all, he is around 7-10cm, and 1-2cm in width,

He has bin in with 2 other newts before (not at the same time), sadly one died, and the other just straight up vanished and we never found it.

we have bin doing exactly what the aquarium we got him from said to do, keeping the temp at 23C, and feeding him a block of blood worm every week and a half,

he seems happy enough and is always very active etc, so i never thought there was a problem until i saw some big ones in a rep shop, now im a bit worried,

can anyone tell me what i should do or change?? i don't have a clue when it comes to newts? and as its not mine and has always seemed happy and healthy iv never really worried

Regards Jord

Cynops orientalis sounds like the 1 which you have chinese fire bellied , japanese fire bellied are much larger cynops pyrrhogaster, but both are called fire bellied newts , your sounds fine dont worry about it, same size as my chinese fire bellies.
