i do have a filter and i know to change a 3rd of the water its just ive been told that they cant be beinifical to the newts and wondered if any1 could back up this claim

I agree with everyone who said bloodworms, they can't get enough of them ! They should be really easy to get hold of at any pet shop, frozen ones at least. Hope they enjoy eating the ones you've ordered (I'm sure they will) !

hey just thought id give an update

the live bloodworms worked great

Every1 is now fine and happy and 2 are eating well. 1 isn't so much but that just because she's hydrophobic and only goes in the water when she really really has to but ive been hand feeding her till she starts going into the feeding dish to eat

Did you try Pollywog too? I strongly advise the pellets for a bit moe variation - they LOVE it. If they are the same species as mine, as soon as the pellets hit ti water they will go nuts and just randomly trying to bite.
