unless you stick the bottom in a much bigger container of water, the standard method of operation of an et waterfall is ran dry with a dead cricket stuck down the out flow pipe.

amphibians don't do well with heat lamps.
best to use a mat for heating and fluorescents for light.

hi there first thing COME ON UNITED! he he

right back to the topic...

i personaly do not like water falls as they are a breeding ground for bacteria and with the water not being filtered i dont think they are very clean... they can be used but would need scrubbing and the water changing every day.

i find the best way to keep humidity us is with regular mistings and live plants, however i only mist and my humiditys are all abouve 65%

that tank you have has some good potential as it is a nice size and there are alot of frogs would suit it. i think because of the height tree frogs would be the best thing as they would make good use of it...

providing it is a viv and not a tank (mainly for ventilation reasons) you could have the following i have only listed what i think are good beginer frogs, but if you feel that you can handle something a bit more delicate just let me know....

whites tree frog
vietnamese blue tree frog
green tree frog (european)
green tree frog (american)
grey tree frog
white lipped tree frog

well good luck

Dave
