Default So I got my new frogs ....

Really pleased - I have just got 4 (believe to be - as the markings are slightly different to other web pictures) Ghanian Fire Frogs which I hope will create a breeding group. Been looking to get some of these for months as missed out on a pair a little while ago. Although I know roughly what I am doing - if any has any advice for keeping these then that would be great - as there are no specific care sheets for them that I can find.

Here they are :

Got them from Smooth and Scaley SmoothAndScaly - Home . They have a guy who seems to import lots of frogs and lizards.

oh and Andrew from Pollywog has kindly identified them as frogs known by these names:

Crevice Creeper, Red-banded Crevice Creeper, Red-banded Rubber Frog, Fire Walking Frog, Snake-necked Frog, Creeping Frog

(Phrynomantis bifasciatus) and has a care sheet on them www.pollywog.co.uk: Red-banded Crevice Creeper (Phrynomantis bifasciatus) Care Sheet

Hi

I have to assume that they are wild caught although they may be captive farmed/CB. They were up for £15.00 each but got a deal as I bought all 4 that they had.

The shop is on Bridgwater Drive in Leigh-on-Sea (put that in the Google Maps) and assume that the postcode would be SS9.
