Default can axleottes have a broken leg?

I was just wondering weather they can break a leg? my axleottes leg looks weird.

as far as i know axolotl's have very fast regenerative qualities they are related to salamanders who possess the same qualities dont worry im sure your axolotl's leg will sort itself out

Is is eating and acting ok? if not then i;d still take it to a vet. Anything with bones can break them, and even though they may heal quickly, you dont want it healing in an odd position.
in what way does it look 'funny'?

i'v never seen axolotl out of water. lol thought i would share that with you.

that's a good thing! if they were out of water for too long.. they would die!
only fully morphed axies (basically salamanders) can be out of water for any length of time, and that's really rare for one to have morphed!

lol sorry only just noticed that people had replied!


yeah his leg was up in the air for a few days, not the stort of thing you can take the vet really but he was eating etc, hes fine now tho, it was very strange!
thats for the replies!
