Unhappy Whites Shedding

Hey guys. another problem my white's skin is shedding! I saw this waxy coating on him. Its clear, and when I pulled some of it off, it started to pull off of his whole body! Is this bad, or natural? Thanks guys so much

i am quite positive skin shedding is totally normal. but this is me and my guess work again.

edit: but it'd probably suggest you don't pull it off, it should be able to do this of its own accord. you may risk damaging its skin trying to help. (unless perhaps it appears unable to get it off, but even so, be very careful and keep the frog very moist).

edit2: also you may want to leave its skin in there for a while, as there is a chance it may eat it (i say this as it is common for other animals to do this) ofcourse if its left untouched. you may as well take it out.

edit 3: i came across a site which has a list of basic from questions which may be of benefit to you: Some Common Questions. as a side note they also said shedding is totally normal.

edit 4: and thye have a section here on whites tree frogs. White's Tree Frog which i think is what you said yours is.

i can't be sure those links are compeltely reliable but i immagine they are. again i hope someone else can pitch in here for advice.

most of the time you wont see it but when they are actvely pulling the shed off themselves it looks like they are wretching... its quite scary if you dont understand!!

Mihogan, dont stop feeding him, just make sure its nicely humid (not too high but a good level) and you'll probably see some stuck to the glass dried up (its a PAIN to clean off!) so just scrape it off nice and quick if you see it or you'll never get it off!!

its perfectly normal and a good sign that hes growing!
