wood wouldnt be ideal... it would mould and warp with the moisture. although if you put ALOT of yacht varnish on the wood it may work, but i wouldnt expect it to last long. If you want frogs you're better off buying an all glass viv IMO, like one of the exo terras, heres some pics of what ive done with mine, They house whites tree frogs but would suit anysort of arboreal frog (with a little tweaking to make sure little tteny frogs couldnt get stuck places)

This one has only recently been done so the mosses etc havent grown in yet and its not as nice. I usually spend about a month tinkering with it once its initally done before im happy, so this is far from done...

Theyre pretty easy to do, just the silicone bit takes ages!

Well the pictures may be deceptive, but for the large part, the floor is dry. The rocks are high enough that its not actually wet. Treefrogs need alot less water coverage than FBTs so i dont know how to solve your problem other than havinf a separate feeding tank.

also, mine now associate my hands with food, so they go nuts whenever i go in there and dive onto my hands! its cute but makes it impossible to redo the viv!! also, I hand feed them 1 or 2 everytime just to make sure they all get at least 1 cricket, that way i know mrs greedy guts (aka houllier) isnt scoffing them all! not that clouseau or poirot would let him! but she is the big one!
