Default Alpine newt...proud moment.

I have a very young alpine newt, he has always been a bugger to feed and I was pleased to get him to eat size 2 crix, partly squished but still wriggling.

Last night one of my daughters wanted to help with feeding time and accidently gave a waxworm to the youngster instead of the adult.

You should have seen him move, before I could blink he had grabbed the waxie and gobbled it down...my little lad is growing up
