Default Horned Frog....

Hiya all i was just going through some of my pics...and stumbled across some pics of "Atari" my Horned frog aka pacman frog....i thought you might like to see...

Are Pacman frogs really bad tempered?! I keep hearing mixed reports...

They are quite individual in character although they are extremely aggresive feeders and if given the chance will eat anything...lol..

I heard they're greedy!!! Lol!! I was told that you wouldn't be able to put your hand in their enclosure as they'll attack you but then I see pictures of them just sat around looking all cute and placid!!!

I'd love one but had got the impression they were like man eating beasts that would rip my arm off!!

Most of them only bite if surprised or they think its food but it depends on the individual. You can handle mine without him attacking but its best to leave them alone and not handle anyway.

Very nice little frog by the way.

Agreed although they can be handled with care...in my experience due to there huge eating habits they will tend to have a go at anything that moves at some point...lol

I saw one today in my local rep shop, well, his eyes anyway!! I've been eying up frogs for a while, but wasn't sure which one to go for..

They are a interesting species to keep....although extremely inactive!!!...unless its feeding time...!!!...lol
