I use coco pannels and i find them fantstic. They are very easy to use and can be planted on freely. They retain the mositure and are very easy to get climbers and creepers to attach to. one of the best backings around imo

Epi web is very good for growing moss as well as plants. Not only do you have plain flat back panels but you can get branches that bend and there is now the new IIS system. This is an intergrated irrigation system that uses a spray bar to moisten the back panel but any other epiweb structures e.g branches that are attached also become part of the irrigation system. The uk supplier is Dartfrog - Everything for the Amphibian Keeper , be careful as the U.S Market has been flooded with fake epiweb. Talk to Marc at Dartfrog he will tell you about his results.

Add to above, unless your running some sort of drip wall, misting system etc it's not very good for alot of plants, and I would have thought mosses included as drains very quickly.

Personal opinion on it is it looks ugly until totally covered in plants.

Lots of better options out there...
