Default urgent newt trouble

hi i just checked my tank and there are some very large tadpoles in there. dnt no how i missed them but wot do they eat. also they are japanese fire bellied newts.

if it is an established tank they will just nibble around plants and rocks
japanese fire bellied newts googal them plenty info on net to help also try pollywogs website

I always remove larvae from the adult tanks, I find that my filtration systems are to strong for them.
I would syphon off some of the water they are in, into a smaller container(I use a 8x6x6 fishtanks but 2 litre icecream containers work as good).
When you have a depth of about 3 inches add some weed and a few largish rocks for them to hide in and move the tads in.
You will need to do a daily 50% water change using declorinated water to stop toxins building up in the water.
