Anyone with Hyla cinerea breeding experience?
Hi,
I have 1:3 of these North American frogs currently kept in a 30 gallon high tank with about 1/3 of the surface taken by water ,about 4-5 inches depth, planted with Java Moss and Elodea canadiensis.
Lighting is provided through natural light neons used for fish tanks, temps are in the 75-80°F range ,and there are lots of branches and plants on the terrestrial part.I often hear my male singing at night though this is not the right season for breeding as far as I know.
I would like to know whether some of you here already got successful breeding with these North American Tree Frogs :what about brumation parameters and length?Any tip to trigger breeding for next spring welcome.
