Default fbt feeding on guppies

as it says in the title
i read somwhere they can feed on them is this right
if so just converting a 3 ft tank and a third of it is for a pool of 1 and a 1/2 inches deep and 1 ft square with filtration
would it be ok to keep guppies in the pool or would they eat them all in one go
i have 2 fbts at the mo but planning on 10 in the tank

I think guppies need deeper water.
Try asking in the fish section?

They dont eat the adult guppies...they eat the live young that they produce, adults are too big! I have a male and 2 females and they breed quite regularly but only 2 of the babys have ever survived the rest are eaten!

But 1 1/2" isn't deep enough for guppies....my water section is about 6" deep!
