Default toad ID needed

right i brought this toad about a year ago, i brought him as a bufo virdis but as hes got bigger and bigger he as completly stumped me, i got him when he was about the size of a 5p, hes now roughly the size of a waxworm tub, any ideas what he is,





below is my adult female bufo virdis that i brought about the same time as the male above and from a different person,

it looks very close to an american/ fowler's toad... a relative possibly... i'm no expert on toads.....

cheers after looking on google i have found a few pics that look the same, so i'm 99% sure its a southern toad (bufo terrestris)

bingo!!! i think it's one too... i was right that it's in the bufo americanus group. here where i live we have bufo americanus and bufo A. fowleri. you can tell the difference by counting the bumps in each dark spot... that's about the extent of my toad expertise.

It is a southern toad. I have 2 myself they are really nice. I really like the look of your other toad too might have to try and find one of those.

i think its a bufo terristris, but the bottom one is deffo a virdis. so you wer sold them both as bufo virdis? whoever did that was wong then wernt they
