unless you get a cycled filter around your area not really mate piranhas need plenty of oxygen and plenty of surface movment and over filteration as they are messy buggers and make sure you take all uneaten food out of the tank aswell as that lets of ammonia and its not good this gives you an idea of surface movment you need for piranhas like i said to you the other day i have been keeping them for years
YouTube - peacockbass and motoro ray i no the vids not of a piranha but you get the idea look at the surface movment there thats one of my preditory comunity tanks and this is my 15" black piranha thats not up for sale by the way YouTube - aggy 15" peru rhom i have an fluval fx5 on there and 2xfluval 405's megga filteration so basicly you are after a filter thats big thats cycled close to your house as the bactria will die after a few hours leave the water inside the filter when you find one dont empty it as the bactria will die without water and a heater like i say i got filters and heaters but it would be dead by the time it got to you mate hope this helps |

so i should fill the tank with water and put the heater in... then find a cycled filter and put that straight in?
