good luck getting 220 quid for 7 blood parrots.

I would be surprised if you could get more than 40 for the lot.

Plus with the pleco. Shops take them in for free because no one wants them. Same with the synodontis eupterus.

Plus the 'hammerhead' looks a bit pangasius to me. Good luck even finding it a suitable home. The smallest species of pangasius hit over 3 foot.

Basically lower your expectations a bit price wise. It doesn't matter what you paid for them. Someone would be a right fool to pay that amount of money for any of your fish.

I'd have the parrots at a fiver each, the pleco at 5-10 quid, the syno for 10 for the pair and the pangasius as free to good home.

Sorry but you've basically got 4 species of fish (although blood parrots are a hybrid and therefore not a true species) that are all hard to rehome

why reply to a message with a amessage like that?
We paid for the fish and we have had no problems with any of them.
THE PLEC IS NOT FOR SALE
all the fish are reasonably priced as they are large and they have all lived together in the same tank for 2 years with no problems with aggression from any of them, infact the parrot fish have bred and laid eggs, they are also very tame and will feed from your hand, we have fed them small pieces of ham and shrimps/prawns they love it. They are very sociable fish and when anyone goes near their tank they are at the glass having a proper look.
TO BE HONEST UNLESS YOU HAVE A REAL INTEREST IN BUYING THE FISH THEN KEEP YOUR PERSONAL COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.
We have also been told by a staff member at a local aquatic shop that those prices are not unreasonable for size and quality of the fish.
SO BUTT OUT!

guys have to be honest you are well over priced on your fish, there is no value in the fish you are selling.i have 5 blood parrots that was given to me cos no one wanted them.even for some of the more sort after cichlids you would not pay that price.

the problem with blood parrot is most people in the hobby hates them cos they are hybrids.i can get a kong kong parrot and trust me that is a large fish for £25.plus 6 med size parrots for £80 and them fish will have all kinds of colour in them thats from the lfs.

it not a dig just some help to get you going onto your new prodject.if the guy fells that they are worth that kind of money witch they ant.then sell them to him for half the price.

We would rather buy another tank than sell our fish to someone for less than they are worth

We would quite happily take a reasonable offer for all the fish! But not the plec!

1. a 7.5" cichlid is not large.

2.I didn't say they were aggressive or you'd had any issue with them

3.The bloke at your lfs doesn't know what blood parrots are worth.

4. I work in the aquatics trade myself and have done for the past 8 years.

5. I have kept and bred hundreds of species of cichlid. I work closely with alot of breeders and suppliers in other countries as well as this to provide them with the best fish I can breed. I know my american cichlids possibly better than anyone on this website. Not being arrogant it's just fact. I've kept more and I dedicate a lot of time in learning about these fish.

6.I was trying to help you. You will have a real hard time selling any of these fish for the price you want. I was trying to give you a realistic value. I was not rude I was giving you the truth.

7.B*****ks to you. I know what im talking about as does Bullet tooth tony. don't wanna listen then don't. It's not my problem.
