Absolutely beautiful! I love it. Is that the normal day time lighting? Looks like the atinics are making it very blue. Are the corals OK with that? Not critising, just wondering, its amazing non the less!

No we use halides for daytime...along with t5's etc....think hubby has the lighting coming on through different phases...my fave is under the blue actinics(hence the piccys)...after this we have the moonlight led's....These pics were taken about 4 months ago...a couple of weeks after buying the new tank...our old tank was a 6ft6 but with out a sump!not recommendedIts doing really well....but i think that marine keepers must have the patience of a saint!!if you get it right its very rewardingIt took a while to get there.....and a shed load of money....its a bottom less pit!Great tho!

Ah, ok then. Yeh, I had halides on mine, with two flurescent actinics. They were on a few hours before, and after, the halides, as well as during the day. Looked really cool. Yeh, I agree, it does look nice with the blue lighting. I had a 180l, and it did take quite a bit of work. Only had it 2 years though, as I had to go to uni, and so had to give it up
