Royal python eggs!!!! Help needed urgent
Posted 17-05-2008 at 06:45 PM by guy parker
I came home from work on Wednesday night to find that my female ball python had laid 7 eggs, she was coiled around 6 of them and had pushed 1 out, the “slug”
Any way this is my first clutch I have since removed the eggs into an incubator,
My question is. The eggs are laid white in colour and soft to the touch, they are slowly starting to change in colour to a darker pearl colour but are still soft. At what point do the eggs harden or is this not the case, just a little advice would be greatly appreciated

Snake eggs should never go hard like a hens egg, they are soft and leathery. Are they on vermiculite in a container with glass ontop?keep at bout 30 - 32 degrees celcius for about 52 - 60 days. They should be fine, any that are infertile will go yellow, hard and smell bad. Good luck!
