Im in abit of a dilemma, ive just been given a leopard tortoise who is 3 years old. I have never kept a tortoise before and dont really know what im doing.
I was wondering if anyone would mind giving me some help with some questions?

What should i be feeding him?

How often should i bath him?

Ive been told to keep the uv and heat lamp on all day and then turn them off and keep the heat mat on all night, is this correct?

I have just joined RFUK, so not that sure how it works yet! We breed rodents, mostly rats, and we had a call today from a guy who wanted some female rats for breeding. He was having trouble finding someone to supply, and eventually found us. He suggested we join RFUK, so here we are. So if anyone wants rodents, especially rats, please get in touch.

I came home from work on Wednesday night to find that my female ball python had laid 7 eggs, she was coiled around 6 of them and had pushed 1 out, the “slug”
Any way this is my first clutch I have since removed the eggs into an incubator,

My question is. The eggs are laid white in colour and soft to the touch, they are slowly starting to change in colour to a darker pearl colour but are still soft. At what point do the eggs harden or is this not the case, just a little advice...
