2nd Blog - Snakey Update - Shed time

Well not much happening in the world of Vazzza at the moment. I played Squash for the first time in about 5 years on Sunday, needless to say I now can't walk!
Anyway, a lil update on the snakes.
Gary is in shed at the moment. He has been struggling getting it off, been very flaky. I've given him a few baths and tried the damp towel technique which has worked well, recommended! Just need to get the last little bit off that starts under the 'chin' and works about 6cm down his body. Once this is off he can have some food.
Talk about bonding tho, its funny how Gary knew that I was helping him get the skin off, he was happy for me to rub him under the chin, man handle him in ways I never thought a royal would let you. His favourite trick was weaving in and out of a washing basket, was good to watch. But yeah, really makes you feel like you are more than pet and owner when you can both jointly work on getting the shed off. He is defo my favourite snake of the 3, soo much personality!
Dave is also in shed. He is also struggling so I've gone out and bought some moss ready for next time round! I was a little bit more reserved with Dave at first as he's bigger and only been with me a month or 2. But he was the same, happy to be man handled in any which way.
Chas, the darling, refused another feed over the weekend. But she had a nice little adventure. She seemed desperate to go in my underwear drawer (Last place i would want to go lol), so I thought "why not", she won't be able to go far. How wrong was I, she was soon out the back of the drawers exploring around. I left her to it for 10 mins then got her out.
Other than not a lot to report. Will be picking up my 2 Het albino's on Saturday, so the next blog will be a little update on the journey to Ipswich and about them settling in. I've been like a kid waiting for Xmas waiting for these 2 weeks to pass for payday. Fingers crossed there aren't any problems with my Tax rebate now!
