i prefer to build them up to a good size that also allows you to cover you costs when selling them a few weeks at least 6 i feel. maybe i'm wrong

I go for 6 weeks minimum - that also helps me decide which ones to hold on to for a bit longer aswell!

I don't part with any until they're at least 8 weeks old ~ that way they're eating, shedding etc well plus they're of a far better weight and size

There is no set time limit.

ITs up to the seller and the buyer. If its eating and shedding well then there is no reason why it cant be sooner, but people like to make sure they are going to be ok and build them up a little first. There are no rules.

To be honest the hatchling shouldnt be hand fed because this doesnt allow them to use their hunting instint.
It can also be difficult for the buyer when hatchlings are not used to hunting their food.

We let ours go from 6-8 weeks depending on weight or if we want to see what they look like in a few more weeks we hold on to them.
