Default will this incubator?

Hello.

This has prob been posted loads of times.

NEW 2008 Novital 7 Egg Incubator Very easy to use on eBay, also, Poultry Hatching Incubation, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 27-Jun-08 18:27:12 BST)

^^ will that incubate leo eggs? I lost my first egg batch last night (incubating in the viv, but died).

i wouldnt recommend it, looks cheap and will probably break, also i cant see it holding humidity very well either.
get a large poly box, heat mat and a ministat 100, make it yourself, you will save lots of money and it will work a lot better too.
there is a good sticky thread in this section that shows you how.

it wont work i dont think as it is heated by a bulb and i think light can kill reptile eggs

i managed to get a box they charged me.. 50p tho. Made one but a crap job hopefully do the job next time she lays.

I use the polybox method to incubate my leo eggs, does the job just as well and saves you nearly £70.

Yeah i just set mine up and stuff.. but the only worry i have, what do you do to stop the lid from comming off??

why would the lid come off in the first instance?

^ Becuase the shop i got it from lost the fitting lid.. so they gave me one that don't fit proper. :/ but ducktape has done the job

hehe no thanks. Not yet. If this incubator don't work then i will buy a proper one. But it cost me £17.50... £17 on a heat-mat and 50p for the polybox (di*ks charged me:@ )
