Default Corn hatchling tips...

Hey all,

I am a first time breeder, and if any of you have been following my other threads you'll know the trouble i've had with my female since. so in anticipation of the hatchlings, i was wondering if anyone has any tips to get me through the stress of at least 8 babies. your general guides would be helpful too just to aid what the books say

many thanks,
Ella

hi there 8 babies will be easy for you 3 or 4 litre tupperware tubs are great to put them in put them on kitchen roll and away you go really change the water and also the paper when needed. Leave them a fortnight after they have hatched before you offer food and thats about it really you might have to leave the mouse in for a bit but some will strike from babies although most are a crap aim lol so cute
anyway good luck with the babies

You shouldnt have any problems with corns apart from the odd non feeder.
Here is a link to one of the most practical books about. The section on problem feeders (about 1/4 the way down) is probably the best I have ever read. Although the book is about milksnakes the advice is still relevant for corns.
