Default Questions about breeding corn snakes

i was wondering if by just putting a male and female corn snake togethor, are they likely to breed? because ive seen alot about lowering temperature etc... and recreating conditions for them. is this the only way to get them to breed, or will they eventually get it on after just leaving them togethor for a long period of time. im getting a female to go with my male snow corn and just want if they will breed after a while and i will come home to a clutch of eggs or will it only happen after ive conditioned them?

same applies to leopard geckos, ive got a male female female trio and was wondering is there any chance they will breed in their own time, or will i have to condition them before they get jiggy?

thanks

Cornwise its a bit late in the year for breeding this year, normally you`d expect to have the matings around March-June, and especially if you intend to quarantine the new female snake you would be missing the season completely, although you never know, some may breed year round, but its not usual..
They will breed really regardless of cooling usually, not everybody cools them. I didn`t cool this time round and had large healthy clutches.
Its not recommended to keep 2 corns together at egg laying time though, as the male may continue to harrass the female and may cause her to either reabsorb the clutch or become eggbound, so ideally you`d need another enclosure so you can introduce them in spring next year.

Haven`t got a clue with geckos i`m afraid.

Usually around 4 weeks from mating to laying, but they can go longer, then around 60 days for incubation.
