we had a large area of viv sectioned off (we have a 6ft viv), with nice damp vermiculite for our beardies to lay in.........did they? No.......lol
They all chose to dig underneath the rocks and lay their eggs in the play sand they are in........

To be honest, they will lay where they feel safest and most comfortable.....

I have been very lucky, my female has laid in her nest box everytime. Nice damp vermiculite, in a giant tupperware box and i rigged up some artificial plants for overthe top so she was hidden from view- she seemed to like it!

Default Egg laying

HI WE USE A SEPARATE NESTING BOX THAT REALLY WORKS WELL.
ALL WE USE IS DAMP COMPOST MIXED WITH A LITTLE PLAY AND MAKE A MOUND IN ONE CORNER. AFTER A FEW DAYS THE DRAGON WILL DIG, LAY HER EGGS AND THEN BACK FILL.
ONCE THIS IS DONE GENTLY REMOVE THE EGGS WITHOUT TURNING AND STORE IN A INCUBATOR WITH VERMICULITE AT A TEMP OF 85 DEGREES.
IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER HELP PLEASE JUST ASK. STEVE
