Default Breeding - Male Leopard Gecko Question

I want to breed my male leopard gecko but he's very small for his age.

He's 12 months old roughly but still the size of a juvi, and around 35g.

He's not underweight, skinny or unhealthy. Just small as he doesn't seem to be growing.

My question is, can I breed him at this size? I know it's normally 50g for females and a minimum of 6 months old for a male, but he's not as big as a six month old should be so I want to check before I do breed him.

and is there a chacne my females will bully him, as i think it will be a big possibility as they are much bigger...

I dont think it would impose any health issues. But as you say the female may bully him due to his size.

You could try and visually mate them as in put them together and watch them rather than leaving them together over a period of time. And then this way if the female does become aggressive in anyway you can seperate them straight away.
Although you will have to give it time as some females wont be recpetive the first few times and will be aggressive even if 5 minutes later they do mate!

Personally i wouldn't risk it because his stunted growth could have under laying consequences or something genetic that could cause issues for the offspring he produces. I wouldn't consider his genes to be "desirable" even if you decided to keep all the babies.

I once owned two girls like that. They were sisters/clutch mates and once they reached a good size they started picking on the other two girls in the viv.

have to ask but did the seller at June's Doni say when he'd hatched? I have to say that he looks more like a '08 then a '07 and personally I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend using him for breeding until he'd grown a lot more

He wasn't from a trader from june's doni, it was the one earlier this year in ?march? and he was at least two - four months old then so hes an abolute minimum of 9 months but more like 12 months...
