Apparently you do, but I've never tried it (yet)

Someone should maybe cool a pair, and not cool another pair and compare? Or not cool the same pair that they cooled the year before, etc. and compare that.

I have experienced absolutely no increase in number of eggs based on cooling.

The only difference I have experienced when cooling or not cooling a collection of 50 adults, is the amount of females that a male can successfully copulate with, without running dry.

I cooled all my corns for 5 years, then cooled no one for 3 years... this year I am cooling males only.

That's interesting! So basically you only need to cool males, because females will still ovulate as normal without cooling?

Cooling is actualy more important for older animals in my experience.
As mentioned it seems to be more important to cool males than females.
But females over 5 seem to produce better when they have been cooled.
For snakes 3 and under it seems to be less of an issue.
