Got a female dragon who is now full of eggs.
Got a container with a hole cut in the side full of damp sterile soil and sand. Incubator on standby at 28C She is digging all the soil out and not doing anything more than that. Been digging since last thursday/friday. Tryed bathing her but nothing so far. First time breeder so this is all new to me any tips? Andy |

This is what a very helpfull person sent me in pm earlier
feel free to add hi just read your post if she is digging it could take a couple of days to weeks digging is a way of letting you know its on the way but not good for an exact time, you would be best just to keep a check on her you will notice she is eating less and less. we have found with our soon to be mums they like to dig in either moist sand or peat or peat based soil if you can in a tub or cat litter tray this will also help keep the eggs moist if you dont spot them immediatly keep the tub at the cool end, watch for her water bowl as a couple of ours have laid in their water. when she has laid it is really good for them to buy her pinkies as this will help build up her body weight. also watch out for a second cluch in about 4-6 weeks as they can double clutch, good luck and enjoy as it is amazing watching them hatch and develop.
