oh cool, thanks for that beaned, and no, no one at the koi does, they dont even sex their adults, they lost out on £180 of sales from me cause they couldnt tell me what sex the snakes i was interested in were, which didnt help me, and when i asked about sexing i was told " we NEVER sex snakes, its down to the buyer to take it to the vet and find out" !!!! not terribly helpfull at all

Hiya, my name is Ben and work in the Reptile section of the Japanese Koi Company.

Just to clear things up, we regulary ask Dave to take time out of his busy schedule to sex any snakes for us. Usually we only ask Dave to sex snakes that we need sexing, if a customer needs to know the gender of a particular species we take down their details, ask Dave to pop down when he can, and then contact the customer with the news. Ideally we'd get Dave to sex all the snakes in the shop and label them up but in reality Dave is a busy man and stock changes so regulary it'd be difficult to do that. Where possible we always try and label up the sex of any animal if known to us (for example our Dumeril's and Bredl's sexes are labelled up)

Sorry you didn't get the option to find out the gender of the species you wanted, if you let me know what snake it was and if we still have it then i can pester Dave to pop down when he next can and find out for you.
