well like i said not exactly experienced and dint know what kind of suffering the snake would go through.i just thought being a cold blooded animal,being put in the freezer would be just as quick as being put to sleep. but tbh i dont think i could do it my self,just a fair money saving coment.sorry

At the end of the day if you cannot afford to end an animals suffering with dignity imo you shouldnt have the animal in the first place.
Alot of information is around on the web on this subject if you wanted to read up on it.

to get to the japanese koi just catch the train from stevenage to arlsey and its a 10 minute walk the trains are frequent and it £3.50 for a return as for a reptile shop in stevenage im hoping to open 1 either late this year or early 2009 boas and boids look out for it
