It has been brought to my attention that someone on this forum has broken all rehoming policies and swapped the rescued royal they rehomed from us for a couple of burms.
Despite them understanding that they couldn't sell or rehome the reptile involved without prior consent of myself. Though a rehoming form was signed, it didn't have the details of our policy. (My huge mistake and thus was recitified after a similar event concerning Dirty Dozen and this same person arose to avoid a recurrance). Even though the form he signed didn't specify these details he has read our policy on our web site and was told by myself. Plus months running up to all this it was made clear that he wasn't to trade the rescued royal! He agreed and promised he would never do that! He has deliberately not taken a blind bit of interest for the welfare of this animal and traded for what can only be seen as self gain. The original owner of the burms wasn't aware of the situation and though is now. Thank fully he has promised a good home for the royal.
The person who has done this can be found in the classifieds 'trolling' to constantly trade reptiles without the animals welfare being considered. Not to mention no quarentine, despite the constant flow of reptiles that goes through his hands. My advise is do not buy from this person!!!
His recent trade involving the burms and despite reading that they have only just recovered from what was described as a 'runny nose' this person was prepared to bring the burms here for a visit to show them off! Obviously I declined the offer of the show. This is another example that this person who I am refering to is NOT concerned with the welfare of any animal that comes into his possession.
I have made a terrible mistake in trusting this person. If I had know what i do now about this person I would never of rehomed to him. Don't you do the same. Avoid at all costs! Though I want to name and shame in public I cannot for legal reasons, but in the herp world as many of you know, bad news travels fast.

a shame that people take advantage of people liek yourself.. who using theirt own time and money takes in animals wich in the majority of cases would die without your help.. only to gain from it later on..

i myself aim to rehome anything that people offer me (given the space i have available) wich puts a few people off as they see me as *grabby* however the upmost respect is given to the animal and the rehomer... and ANY animal coming into ym care is not rehomed for profit.. and the moajority of tyimes at a loss to friends who i KNOW can give it a better home

having had rescues in my home which i STILL have and paid many vet bills and made sure they are safe this is very very sad

i have a rescue cali king and know im not allowed to move her on/sell her without rescue centres permission - this is fine by me and fully understood - im there to give her a new home for the rest of her life and not to play musical snakes with her, she doesnt deserve that

I didnt read no policy or aware there was such a thing. I just signed a form sayin i was taking possession of a royal and at no point was it agreed i would discuss with her what happened to the royal...

But was agreed that i would provide the BEST home possible for the snake for as long as it was in my care...

And considering it was only feeding evert 16+ days when i got it to get it feeding every week without fail i consider a massive result as the snake started to gain weight..

Also it was rehomed as a CB Royal which turns out was a WC/CF Royal.

But DONT EVEN DARE accuse me of not looking after any REPTILE i take hold of because i can assure you i DO... as for Quarenteen you once said to me you dont do it and your a RESCUE as its not ALWAYS possible to Quarenteen!

PM me abuse etc all you wish i probably deserve it! But the way i see it i did what was agreed.
