With ball python morphs naturally being shockingly cheaper in america than in the UK, and the ridiculous exchange rate we have with $:£, it seems the best possible place to buy royals at the the moment is in the states, but obvioulsy this exchange rate wont last forever.

Most royal breeders who are willing to ship to the uk, have a minimum spending amount of say $5000 which not everyone wants to spend.
on top of shipping you have to pay for cites documentation which as far as im aware you pay per species.

I was wondering if anyone thought it a good idea to get a few people together to find a reputable american breeder and putting in an order together, which would make it much easier to get to the minimum order mark, would be able to split cites and shipping fees, making the money your spending on getting it here much lower per person than if you were to do it alone!

I've found albinos for $700, thats £350! and stunning male pastels for $100, thats £50!!!

we have been looking into importing royals from america. It is a lot of work and you have to pay 17.5% vat on everything you buy and when they enter the uk they have to be checked at the airports which there is a fee for.
