I am thinking of selling my royal as its not really my kind of snake but bought it just to see what they are like. He is male and about 2 years old. Just trying to get an idea of value and whether its worth selling or trying to trade for a Jungle Jag sibbling or python along the carpet type etc

I reckon you'd probably get more than 50 if the right buyer comes along. Anyone in need of a grown on male could get interested. You see babies being sold at shops for 50 - 80 quid, and sometimes they are a pain to start feeding.

Yours is quite chunky and grown on, so I'd advertise it for 100 quid expecting to get 85 for him.

By the way, are you 100% sure it's a male ? With royals it's worth checking, because you'd probably get 150 quid for him if he turned out to be a she

I only know the sex from it being bought privatly as a male. I have never got it probed myself.

Not sure whether to sell or not at the moment. Depends what comes up for sale.

its worth whatever the buyer wants to pay ..shops round here sell baby royals for £100...an people buy them..i had a choice of two males when i bought mine same age ect..one was £60 other was £85...i chose the £85 as i liked him better no other reason...
good luck if you sell him in sure he will be snapped up..
