It doesn't mean "lets start the bidding."

Once a sale is agreed, if the seller then comes back and wants more money or is selling to someone else for more money then that is poor.
It has happened to me before and I now won't even think of buying from that person again.
But then this isn't what the thread is about is it? its about putting prices in the ads
yep agreeed - if it ends up being a bidding war then - to me the buyer isn't worth buying from !

the best owner for thei rep should be their priority

I just read the rules and it says

Please consider the format of your post to make life easier for people searching the classifieds.
  • Include the item for sale in the title.
  • If collection only, add this with your town or county in the title.
  • List the price and any other costs involved with the sale.
  • Confirm delivery/collection options to the buyer.
  • Add a picture where ever possible, people WILL ask.
Thank you.

These are suggestions to the format of the ad Not rules.
As I read it

So this is the post;
Quote:
Classified Forums - Posting Rules & Information
Rules & Considerations

Please do not make posts that are not regarding the sale, stuff like "I would buy that, but I dont have any money" and "if only you were nearer". Please also do not disrupt sales with unwanted or negative opinions with stuff like "thats nice, but it seems a bit expensive to me" and "I thought I saw one cheaper over there". Posts like this may be removed.

Please be aware: We do not allow any sort of competitions/raffles that give away a live animal as a prize.

If you bump your thread excessively it will be locked, not more than once in 24 hours.

Your Ad Format

Please consider the format of your post to make life easier for people searching the classifieds.
  • Include the item for sale in the title.
  • If collection only, add this with your town or county in the title.
  • List the price and any other costs involved with the sale.
  • Confirm delivery/collection options to the buyer.
  • Add a picture where ever possible, people WILL ask.
Thank you.
This tells me that yes, consider the format, layout if you will of the post.

However, it states; List the price and any other costs involved with the sale.

There's no point in us arguing over it, we would need someone like t-bo to confirm which it is.
