Everyones heard the term 'make me an offer' - for lots of reasons it should be aloud

- seller may not know what they can get for it
- its a way of serious buyers making a good offer
- It stops the price being made public - to people who could be after a bargain

i don't see a reason why it should be banned though?

Thats why people usually sell stuff though. Not because they want to offer a service because they are after a bit of spare cash. If you offer someone what YOU think its worth then if they accept you haven't lost out because you have paid what you think it was worth. You dont get people on ebay starting an auction and saying dont bid over x amount as its only worth a fiver they are after as much as they can get.

Mybe someone doesnt want to put a price, it can be hard if you "love" the animal to put a price on it.

I dont see why people shouldnt NOT be allouded to put offers on, why dont we make them have to put even numbered prices on aswell, or they have to have 99p on....lmao....haha

I tend not to bother replying to adverts where its states offers as my offers always get turned down.

But I think all adverts on the forum should include the price of the item.

Personally I believe a price should be set, people making offers can turn it into a Bidding War/Auction and you could get disgruntled users - Not saying this would happen, but that's what it would appear to be if offers are being made.

Potential buyers may also not know what to offer, by making a high offer they could get ripped off - Now this could be viewed as their issue, but it would be nice to think that there's fair trading in this community.

On the flip side, sellers may not know what to sell for, but they could probably search the forum before hand and then set a price - If a potential buyer does this then they could miss out on a sale, so an extra five minutes taken to search by the seller would be ideal.

Of course this is my opinion, many may not agree but this is how I like to see a good community operate.
