i find it frigging annoying when people ask for offers, I wouldnt midn fif they put offers in teh region of....of...a price or noear offer or anything with a rough figure, sometimes, its reptiles you dont see for sale very often,a dn you jsut dont know what to offer...e.g. I've never seen a mangrove snake for sale in any shop, and i dont know what prices they sell for!

it annoys me at hamm too when 3/4 of the snakes dont have prices on, when there's a table of like 20 royals you wanna know how much they all are, its ridiculous asking about each one and trying to remember!

a lot fo the time, if people want an offer i dont bother pming, when if they put a price range, they might get a sale from me! so their loss!

On the flip side, sellers may not know what to offer, but they could probably search the forum before hand and then set a price - If a potential buyer does this then they could miss out on a sale, so an extra five minutes taken to search by the seller would be ideal.

Of course this is my opinion, many may not agree but this is how I like to see a good community operate.
thank you u hit the nail on the head people could should have to put a price and worst case even add in ono

People know - ruffly what somthings worth - like if i advertised a hatchling royal.

Everyone knows ruffly what somthings worth.

Also - why should prices have to be made public? It's a private add, just like in a newspaper etc - so why does everyone else need to know how much you sold for.

I just think the reasons for banning somthing should be GOOD reasons.

And there isn't any, just peoples prefrences.

everyone knows what standard stuff like, a normal royal, and a normal corn, but i disagree that everyone knows what everything is worth roughly

different morphs vary so much, and as abaundance increases their prices are constantly fluctuating, and vary from breeder to breeder, I;ve seen albino royals sell between £700 and £1500 each, which is quite a range, there's also plenty of less common species which are rarely offered for sale and so people dont know the expected prices of

You (or possibly someone else, I forget) said that one of the reasons it should be allowed is because the seller may not know what they can get for it.

The flip side of this is that there are people on here who will want stuff and are not experienced enough to know the market and will offer silly money out of naivety, when that happens I think it is taking advantage.

The buyer can always look up prices for whatever animal in shops and make an offer based on that, but so can the seller so there is no real excuse for asking for offers as I am sure sellers know full well what their animals are worth, I certainly know what all my animals past and present cost me and what their market value is currently.

I don't like it as I think it is too vague and it seems to have increased A LOT recently. State your price and if it's fair someone will buy, it's that simple.

If you want to make a quick profit, go into used car sales. I don't think the animals we supposedly love should be brought to the level of how much cash you can get for them. A good and caring home should be first and foremost and as long as you don't lose out too badly it's a fair deal.

i personally have never come across an add for high end morphs saying make an offer.

i just tend to not trust people who ask for offers, they are clearly comparing the market and just want to take the most they can get for it....if someone says offers between 100-200....well if they'll take 100 who will offer 200?

if i am selling an animal, I put a price on it I think it is fair, and the priority is that it goes to a good home, not that i get the most for it
