I've come across loads, dont bother asking what they want any more, they normally have such high prices in mind they know it wont sell if they tell everyone how much they want

personally it aint a problem

I myself dont like making offers as it can often offend the seller...

So they ask offers to see if people will offer to or around a figure they are looking for and sometimes the offer might be more than they want so it can either work out right or for the better for them

I'd be happy to see it banned or at least some pricing rule brought into play.

On another forum i use you HAVE to post detailed description, price and your location, if you don't it simply gets removed.

I'm fairly new to reptiles and don't want to be ripped off and nor do I want to insult the seller by making a too low offer.

I often don't bother when it asks for offers, in my mind that means they want too much or are in hope of someone offering over the top.

I don't get what the problem is with posting prices up. If I'm selling anything I give the buyer as much information as possible including price.

I tend to start higher than what I want so I can be worked down to that price.

It's simple

Make an offer if you want the rep on what you can afford.

If the seller gets offended thats TUFF SH! LOL

Most sellers asking for an offer will know they'rs always a few people who will offer very low

it is quite annoying tbh, fair enough some people wont know what a good price is sometimes but the majority of the time its coz they wanna see what the most is they will get offered. I will put a price up and if it dont sell then lower it and if it still dont sell i may put offers but that is once i have put a guide price of what iam after

Its not really the offers posts that annoy me, its the ones that say pm me any offers then reading post after post of people just saying pm sent at least do it in the open on the posts so people have a idea of what type of offers your after
