no mainly my rant was about equipment but the overall should be enforced and kept to forum guidlines as set out by the admin as stated earlier the offers ban is regarding all sale ads from reptiles to equipment and off topics aswell

sometimes you see ad run for pages and pages because the seller will ask for offers and then you get 'ive pm u on loads of pages where the seller has rejected the offer on a number of people and it just clogs up the ad and confuses everyone as to what they went and is it for sale still.
so personally yes it does put me off and no i won't put in a offer on these ads i prefer a set price asked or atleast a price to begin with but offers accepted atleast you know you can offer a bit less but no to just straight offers.

If i was advertising a reptile and i had people offering £25 or £100 then i know whos most likly to keep it or sell it on for a profit so i think the 'make me an offer' thing is better in that respect.

Also - if somone won't message me because i put make me an offer, because it 'takes too long' or 'is annoying' then i know the people who do message me are deffintly interested so

its a good thing.

Equiptment, - well don't make no difference i dont think
