Default "testing the waters" ads....

They drive me mad! Either your selling or your not. I cant understand these "testing the waters" and "how much would you offer if i wanted to sell?" ads. People know how much they paid for their livestock and equipment. Your never gonna get the money out of this hobby that you put into it and you will very rarely if ever make a profit...so if you wanna sell but dont know what to ask....put the equipment on Ebay and let the bidders decide the true value. And for livestock....use the forum threads to gauge the value of the species.

Who else agrees?

Anyway...thats my pissy wet saturday afternoon weather rant out o the way. I'll take my hangover and go back to bed now

Agreed. I've never understood why someone would put an ad up if the animal in question isn't for sale. Either sell it or don't.

It seems to be royals and some boa morphs that people are always reluctant to give a price for because they are popular at present.

And why are people selling gravid females? Surely if you take the time to get a breeding project going...you understand and accept responsibility for the financial aspects and space required for the project. So to sell a gravid female for "lack of space", or "no longer have an incubator" etc... is just annoying ....

I am sounding like a right whingeing bd now

.....and those people that sell larger boids to concentrate on "other things" only to be seen 2-3 days later making offers for a retic or burm on the classifieds!

Thats it!! the blood pressures gone thru the roof now. Better take me medication
