Buying on forums

Does anybody else get annoyed with buying on forums, as we saw a gecko with a very limited description and asked a few questions(the first i may add) then was just waiting for them to come back online to confirm the deal when i was told it was sold.I wouldnt mind if it wasnt for the fact that we only started talking about 1hr ago ,so its not like we didnt reply or seem uninterested(in fact we kept saying that we were very interested.I just feel like we have been done.

Its even worse when they never get back to u, and ur waiting to tie up a deal, before u move onto entering another purchase with someone else!

i know exactly what you mean, but there are that many time wasters on here that they say its first come first served. its also annoying when someone says they will buy somthing then on the day they come up with some crumby excuse that they expect you to believe then a day later you see them buying somthing else

Definately, a lot of people just dont let you know which really annoys me, its just courtesy. Thankfully everyone I've delt with on here (except one girl re a dog) has had the courtesy to reply and have been very helpful, people on other forums havent been as helpful though

too many timewasters - i have lots of people show interst but thats it -

the last thing i sold the guy, Solid - phoned and text and pm made sure i knew he was serious - and arranged pick up
thats great - only simple experience i have ever had with a buyer - (By the way perfect buyer to deal with)

others show interest or even say wanna pick up then dont bother
everyones time is wasted holding for someone who didnt want it in first place!

I hate the hundreds of pms back and forth and often give out my mobile no so the person buying or selling can make contact as soon as is convienient and it speeds the whole thing along nicley But thats just personal preference

I must have had the excuse of "ul never believe whats happened, my car has boke down and it needs a new cluch, brakes and even an engine" at least a dozen times! or " ive lost my job" how convenient the day before the sale! pees me right of it does!
