hi i know a lot of people get time wasters and it ps off everyone ,i think these people should be named and shamed for this , i had a add up for my female royals for sale and 2 of them sold to a local guy great person to deal with but with the other one a guy who might get named for messing me about ,he pm,d me i sent him pics and all the details ect, he was happy with the price ,the animal ect and we aranged a time and day to pick up and guess wot he didnt turn up .i got a text later that day saying he didnt have enougth money ,so he aranged another time and day with me to pick up but jut again no show , i have now taken 2 days off work to sell this snake and lost 2 days wages for this person , so in my opinion i think these people should get named and shamed for all the people and time they waste , im sorry to rant on but this sort of thing realy gets to me

I've had one or two timewasters in the past. The things i have learnt are .......... dont 'put yourself out' too much for delivering or meeting people; it sometimes costs 'you'!!!
If your selling something always try to put a pic' up...... just to deter pic' hunters!!!!
Try to get a deposit, which would cover your losses for a no-show.
Try and get good communication going, email and especially phonecalls.
Set the price before you go off to deliver/meet....... i've been caught out with this one!!!! lol

I do believe in naming and shaming, especially for no-showers! I once backed out of a deal (not by not turning up!)...... i had to cancel, and i fealt like shite, but some people just dont care.

I had one this week for a hog, when can we collect, can we buy a new cage of you as well, whats your addy, and guess what they did not turn up or reply tp pm or email and although they had my mobile not a call or a text, and yes if you are reading this i did put myself out for you be arranging to be home all day tuesday.lucky enough there was a lot of intrest and he was snapped up. you ----

Its not just the timewasters that don't show up that annoy me its the ones that waste your time while your selling, like agreeing to buy something from you and then mentioning a couple of days later that they want it delivering 200 miles away for free! Or the day before the deal they text you and start moaning about the price or say sorry ran out of money you'll have to wait a month til i get paid.

OMG this thread is bringing back some memories but yeah i know exactly how you feel when you re arrange your day to fit around some one coming to collect then having to re arrange another day and another day

i know wot u mean amber gekko ,at least when we did our deal things went great ive now got a male to go with the 2 female kings i got from u and they are all cooling down now ready for breeding and i hope it is all ok with the fwc , again we should all name and shame so people know who they are deeling with if they have a bad rep of not turning up ect
