Default cheap or free reps?

Iv noticed latley that there are a lot of threads going up in the classifieds especially in the snake section for free reps do these people not realise that we've put a lot of time and money into the animals we own and breed not just with initial purchase but with the amount of food we stock for them, jesus i had a hell of a time getting my misses to give up the bottom tray of the freezer for my food stock, time spent on non feeders and how attached some people get to the reps. All the reps i have iv had to pay for nobody gave me a thing

I get free reps all the time! Burms and tegus and iguanas, nile monitors, boas.. with burns, infections, wounds, mites, ticks, non feeders... I get free vet bills too, hundreds of those

Shame none of the people who ask for "free" reps are interested in helping out with those.

lol yeh those vet bills are great hey ?

I get given free reps as well they usually come with added heart ache and 3 am chick skinning, tease feeding or reptiboost baths.

at least with the non feeders though i get to send a lot back to their owners happy and feeding, thats a great feeling

Three of my female royals are from rescue centres and not from shops you normally find that rescue centres spend more time with the animals than shops can. I dont understand why rescue centres arnt concidered more this is one of my royals i got from a rescue in kent and she's a blinder the normal not the pastel

gorgoeus snakes tick!

i got my corn from a rescue and have mt eye on a few more that are there as well!

i understand why people may have to give away a reptile, but i think openly asking for one is wrong! espeacially when it means the person will usually take whatever is offered to them

Thankyou i do love em
imo i would rather go to a reptile rescue centre and take on a royal rather than buy from a shop and take on a potential WC there are apparently 16,000 royal pythons shipped from Africa every year for the trade surely if thats the case sooner or later Africa will depleat its royal wild life and the only ones will be in captivity i think thats quite sad
