Well the shop is on my property would i still need a liscence? i thought that if you sell from home or ur own land etc u wouldnt need one.

they sell livestock, they supply my local rep shop and its good stuff but alot is wildcaught Fauna Import UK supplier of Reptiles, Amphibians, Inverts & Chelonia to the trade & wholesale

You'll need a Pet Shop Licence if you want to sell Livestock (even from home). If you're not doing livesotck, then it's the usual stuff like registering for tax etc.

If you use your home premises as a business, it is still a business. It doesn't matter if it's also your home, whether you own it or rent it. If you run a business, you will need to register self employed and pay income tax. Depending on how much you earn that tax may be none, but you will still have to fill in the forms and declare it. If you're earning elsewhere, or claiming benefits, this will affect it. You may need to register for VAT depending on your turnover.

If you're selling livestock as a commercial venture, you have to get a pet shop license. Regardless of whether its from home or not. This needs to be renewed yearly.
