well there ya go................
I thought there was something fishy going on, but not sure what.
I replied to the cornsnake ad. about desperate to sell them as was moving and no room for them and had overspent on the move so needed to get reps sold in a hurry. I went there picked up two very very small corn snakes ( both very cute though ~ not upset with my purchase at all ) they came with a viv (recently bought by this person from a shop clearance of second hand vivs~ no problem with that either) also had a thermostate, water bowl bag of aspen and a branch. all in all a very good deal for me. BUT the very next day this person was back on here trying to buy all sorts of 'take up space' animals and equipment.
Whilst handling the snakes he did say he was scared of snakes they were not his thing! He did seem very nervous with them or was it all an act? Within a week or two he was trying to buy ~ a Royal, a Burmese Python, a Boa and last but by no means least he's tring to get experience and a DWA licence to own a Caimen!
Doesnt sound like a desperate downsize to me. (shame I thought he was an ok guy at the time of our meeting seems I MAY have been wrong?)

how did his house look? was it full or reps or...
seems really werid that doesnt it saying he has to get rid and hes terrified, then in the next breath is trying to get 3 snakes of differant size/temprement. we can't stop him really if he treats them well, suppose we can just warn people

i am in total agreement with you Diablo.

He got me to hold back our bosc and viv at the weekend so i waited in for him. had the inlaws round too and they wanted to go out.

People like this should be banned via there I P address...

He should be banned yes.

He even had the cheek to email my rescue stating he had 40 spare vivs and vast experience with burms etc. Hes a muppet end of lol.

He's living with mum and dad, met them really nice people, they did say he was moving out though. no reps insight they were kept in his room, he bought the snakes down to me. His parents hadn't been aware he had snakes, they thought he only had the geckos.
To be honest my purchase from him was all hunky dorey, it was only seeing the ads on here for bigger snakes afterwards that worried me.

He's a blagger mate end of lol tried telling me he had a total of 60 vivs.

IMOA I wouldn't think theres 60 vivs, mum and dad would have known if he had 60. more like 10, like I said they were sold after a shop refit. At least they certainly look like the ones that were sold earlier this year.

We just came across your web-site and would love to help in anyway we can weather it be donations or cash food or equipment or re-homing, my love for reptiles has now become my life and i have over 100 vivs in my reptile house and 40 are empty waiting for new animals so have plenty of room for any that you may have, my biggest love is of lizards but i also keep servral large snakes like my 16ft male albino burmese python and my 2 royals plus a number of corns that i have taken in over the last year,
So if you have any reptiles that need good homes i am here and if in the mean time you need any equipment food or financial donations please feel free to contact me,

Baring in mind that this Matthew aka Roseabell aka caveman2007 was emailing me on my other email address regarding a pair of albino burmese pythons he actually said to me then he only had corns and boas and would love to own some albino burmese pythons. I was willing to give him the benifit of the doubt but once i recieved the above email i quickly changed my mind.
