I've never lost a single paypal dispute, i've had a good 5 due to the hands of others. If you recite the legalities of the situation and act a bit stressy they tend to dip a bit on your side...also type alot lol. I just waffled on. I've had 250refunded in total. Damn scammers.

Hopefully you can dispute it back pal?
remember to leave alot of time for them to reply,
but over power the dispute with facts/info get your foot above theirs, they tend not to write a single thing or retaliate in a very small ammount, paypal then can judge who's legit.

good luck.

If the person filed a paypal dispute and won then they would have had their payment reversed, but if you email paypal or phone them they will re-open the dispute, normally all they ask to find a dispute in your favour is proof of delivery. My advice is bombard them with complaints about the situation eventually they get so annoyed they give in.

Report to your card issuer that the payment was incorrect, they then request the money back and paypal very rarely say no to banks or card issuers.

It mainly happens when you sell to people from abroad as many countries do not have banking codes like the UK, therefore its easier to abuse the system.(Although I am aware that there is occasional abuse from the UK)

I have never had an issue with paypal, but I would not sell to customer abroad, ever, therefore 99% of the problems sorted.

A dispute can only be filed 90 days after the initial transaction. Therefore the only way they could have reversed this is by doing a CC 'chargeback' to your account, and thus, Paypal automatically pulled the funds from your account.

This is a major flaw in Paypal's system, and we have been victims of it a few times. Paypal have recovered or refunded us the money in goodwill twice, the third time, we took it to our bank and their fraud department recovered the money. And the guy landed himself in the SCC.

That's what I call justice.
